Cecil D. Quillen, Jr.
Senior Advisor

Cecil Quillen has substantial experience with the legal and economic issues facing domestic and international businesses. This experience includes licensing and settlement negotiations, merger and acquisition questions, antitrust litigation, monopolization issues, commercial and royalty damages in intellectual property suits and patent infringement and patent damages issues. He has managed many large litigation cases and is known for his skill in developing litigation strategies, planning and executing litigation discovery, preparing fact and expert testimony and analyzing opposing positions.

Mr. Quillen was formerly the general counsel of Eastman Kodak Company, where he was also a senior vice president and a member of the board of directors. In his thirty-one years at Kodak, he was involved in patent and technology licensing transactions with U.S. and foreign businesses, in environmental compliance matters and in corporate legal issues. He was Kodak�s director of patent litigation from 1976 to 1982 and directed Kodak�s antitrust litigation from 1978 to 1982.

Mr. Quillen received a B.S. in chemical engineering, with honors, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an LL.B. from the University of Virginia. He is also a graduate of the Executive Development Program of the University of Tennessee.
