Robert S. Linden
Principal
Robert Linden's primary consulting focus is on business strategy development and implementation in enterprises and institutions involved in energy production, transmission and distribution. Mr. Linden assists clients in systematically assessing their external business environment and the robustness of their current business model, asset mix and financial performance in light of that environment, and in devising strategic and tactical pathways to achieve specific business objectives. He provides clients with the analytical tools and helps them develop internal procedures to effectively monitor, guide and evaluate the strategy implementation process.
Mr. Linden has assisted commercial natural gas and power industry clients seeking to reposition and restructure their companies to secure and enhance enterprise value, as well as domestic and international institutional clients seeking to better understand and act upon the broad or narrow implications of industry change.
Previously, Mr. Linden was an executive with Transco Energy Company (now a part of The Williams Companies), where he directed strategic planning, international and domestic business development, contract reformation and merger and acquisition initiatives at both the corporate and subsidiary levels. He received a B.A. in analytic philosophy from Lawrence University and a B.S.Ch.E. from the University of Maryland.
