Edward D. Kee
Director

Edward Kee is an expert on the electric utility industry, particularly in the areas of independent power and electric utility regulation, valuation, finance and power procurement. He has been retained as a consultant by utilities, nonutility power plant developers, law firms, public utility commissions and others. He has provided expert testimony on the quantification of damages, power contract terms and practices, project feasibility, power contract renegotiation and other related issues.

Before joining PHB, Mr. Kee was a consultant in the energy practices at McKinsey & Company and at Charles River Associates, and he was an independent consultant to electric utility and independent power companies. Before becoming a consultant, he served as president and director of Catalyst Energy Systems Corporation, as an associate in the corporate finance department of Lehman Brothers and as a special assistant to the assistant secretary of the Navy for research and development. As a naval officer, Mr. Kee was a nuclear engineer engaged in reactor power plant construction, testing and operations.

Mr. Kee received a B.S. in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business Administration, Harvard University.
