W. Robson Googins
Senior Vice President & Treasurer
Robson Googins has served as PHB's senior vice president and treasurer since 1991. Mr. Googins has worked with client companies to improve their management infrastructure and business operations. He has focused his consulting practice on improving management information systems, operational controls and the managerial development of operating managers at firms experiencing the strains of rapid growth and/or diversification. His assignments have also included structuring business plans for the recapitalization of growing businesses.
Before joining PHB, Mr. Googins worked for more than fifteen years in the environmental consulting industry in both engineering and executive capacities. He was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Metcalf & Eddy, Inc., a $300 million environmental services firm, as well as a member of its board of directors. He was also managing partner of the Environmental Executives Partnership, which provides consulting services to chief executive officers in the environmental industry.
Mr. Googins holds a B.S. in engineering physics from the University of Maine and an Executive M.B.A. from Northeastern University.
